I was writing long sentence about Kagura. But it is erased... Oh no. There is a Kagura one of Japanese culture. There are some kinds of Kagura in Japan. My area's Kagura is called ''Iwami-Kagura''. Kagura is classical theater in order to dedicate to God. You can it in temple, festival and public hall. In fact Kagura is held one night(from nine at night to six at morning), so it is very long long performance. However it often play one hour in festival. Iwami-Kagura treat Japanese myth such as 'Ebisu', ' Orochi', 'Tenzgin'. My favorite is 'Ebisu' which is played in auspicious occasion for example wedding reception. There is a mask used by Kagura. Children often make it. It is very good chance to touch Japanese culture.

Osouji(大掃除)

It is Japan's  New Year's Eve.
People spend at house with family.

People are very busy on Omisoka.
Because they have much to do to prepare for the new year.

Many people  do a thorough house cleaning, it's called Osouji (大掃除).

And they make osechi(おせち) to new year.

After cleaning, people eat toshikoshisoba(年越しそば)  to dinner .

People watch singing program Kohaku Uta Gassen(紅白歌合戦).
Many famous singers appear it.

Last year I spent Omisoka at Korea.
I'm going to spend with my family this year.

Respect for the Aged Day

Respect for Aged Day is the third Monday in September. We cherish our grand parents and make town with withdom of aged in this day. We usually give them present   in this day. I took likeness for  my grand parents when I was six years. But I don't give them present resentlly because I don't live them together. I want to help house work when I am going to meeet them next time.

Christmas

In japan, We often eat KFC and cake. I like to eat cake. So, I like Christmas.

Japanese people often spend with girlfriend or boyfriend. So, I am afraid of this Christmas.
We can see beautiful illumination.

American football is interesting. American football player hit other player.That thing is excited to me.
I often watch games on TV. National Football League (NFL) has many teams. My favorite team is  New England Patriots.

The New Year Day

In the new year day in Japan, we　say 'Happy New Year' to everyone we meet and the children get money from adults, but they cannot use the money they got from adults because it is said that if they used the money in that day, they would be poor in the year.

We visit the shrine in Japanese traditional wear in that morning and greet the gods of the shrine. Some people pray their wish at the time for the year.

Children play with kites or tops the new year day and do　a special piece of calligraphy for the New Year the 3rd Jan. We write the words they decide for that year with the ink made from water that we gathered from leaves in that morning.

Plus, we eat Japanese traditional foods called osechi(おせち) in the new year day. It is one of the most expensive dishes in Japan. We make it by using the products which have good meanings in Japan.

In the department stores, it is on a very big sale there, and there usually are a lot of people looking for good things.


We have many ways to spend the new year day in Japan.

Hina-Matsuri

March 3rd is Hina-Matsuri,the Doll's Festival for girls.
(ひな祭り)

People display graceful dolls in ancient court costumes on a tier of
5 or 7 shelves covered with scarlet cloth.Theses dolls represent the
Emperor and Empress,the court ladies,the ministers and the count musicians. 
The girls are expected to be as elegant as these courtly
ladies. And they wear the beautiful Kimono and get together
 before the display and have a good time,eating sweet crackers
(ひなあられ) and drinking white sake(白酒)
We offer sweet mild sake and diamond-shaped rice cakes
on the doll-stand.

Hina-Matsuri is also known as the Peach Festival.(桃の節句)
When I was a child,I often wear the Kimono.

My diary life

This semester ,almost my class  are related Language or Education because I want to be a high school English teacher. Monday,I study Korean and English. Tuesday, I have education psychology ,education of English ,Enflish communication and Britain modern and current history. I have four class in Tuerday so I'm busy. Wednesday, I have seminar  and entrance of teaching profession. Thursday. I have English Linguistics and Enlgish communication. Friday,I have no class but I have part time job.I work at a hamburger shop.

Saturday and Sunday,I almost work ar a hamburger shop.Sometimes I attend a volunteer.

Club activity

I belong to  tea ceremony club. I  started tea ceremony when I was a high school student.
We active only twice a month. Sometimes we attand local tea party.
I like Japanese things. I like green tea and kimono and of course Japanese-style confection.(和菓子)

I enjoy talking with friends while the active time.

My Daily Life

I often jog to keep my health good. This is my habit. I jog around my house at least once a week for thirty minutes. When I was in my home town, I had more time than now so I used to jogged for more times with my dog. My dog likes climbing a mountain so I sometimes climbing with the mountain near my house. It is so hard that I was very tired after climbing the mountain. I just took my dog for a walk too. This is my task in my home. There are three dogs in my house and I have one sister and one brother so we took them in a turn, but now I don't live in my home town so my mother or my father should take them a walk now.
In the University, I have two or three class in a day. The first class starts at 9 AM so I usually get up at 7or8 AM. After the class I usually go to work at part-time job. I work at a convenience store for 4 hours. After part-time job, I go back to my house and eat dinner and do my assignment.
If I had many assignment, I sometimes go to bed at 3or4 AM. The next day, I am very sleepy. My daily life is almost like that. But I enjoy my seminar and class. I study Russian language hard. I want be able to speak Russian.

My Daily Life

On weekdays I usually get up at 8:30 when I have first classes.

When I get up I go to school by my car.

My first class start at 9:10, so I feel really sleepy every Monday Wednesday and Thursday.

I study politics Chinese English and so on.

I really enjoy my classes and want to be wise!!!

Also I belong to the volleyball club.

I practice every Monday and Friday.

I enjoy club activities very much.

On holiday I go to aquarium to do part time job.

My schedule is really hard! Because I have a lot of classes.
Monday, I have 4 classes. And my first class is Korean.
It is little difficult for me to study Korean. I have to learn Korean more.
But Korean is first class on Monday! It is really hard to wake up to go to first class!
So, I always feel sleepy on Monday.
And I have first class from Monday to Thursday!!!
But Friday is very easy day. Because I have one class. :-D

Today , I talk about my schedule of Monday.
I try to get up at 7:30.(But I can't get up at this time recently, because it is too cold for me...)
At 9:10, the first class is started. My first class is Chinese. I started to study Chinese about one year ago.
It is difficult to learn language, but I want to speak another language. So, I study English and Chinese in university.
In the future, I want to speak languages fruently.
My class is continued 9:10~14:50.On Monday, I have 3 classes.
I have only one hour to eat lunch!!
So, after I finish my class of second period, I dush to my house to eat lunch.

I usually get up at 6:30am.And I have a part time job from 7:30 to 9:00.I attend a class from 9:10 to 15:00.

I study Chinese on Monday and Wednesday.
Studying Chinese is difficult for me but I like Chinese.Because I have been to China twice.
and I have a lot of  friends in China.I want to speak Chinese with my friends someday!!

My favorite subject is English.
My English teacher Mr.Harris is a friendly.

I go to driving school after school.

Club Activity

 I belong to volleyball club! When I was 10 years old, I started to play volleyball. My father was good volleyball player, but not famous. He taught me how to play volleyball and good techniques. I love volleyball.

 Last month, we got a first prize in the contest of city. It was very excited game!!

My club activities

I belong to photo club at the University. We don't act not so much. Usually we have to submit one picture per month. On July we went on a trip to Matsue. Matsue is the prefectural capital in Shimane. We went to Matsue English garden. There was  beautiful flowers and garden.

In junior high school, I belonged to soft tennis club. I was a forward. I was not good player, but I used to enjoy playing every day. I and my teammate often went to other junior high school. We played a match many times with other junior high school students to be strong.

Club Activities and Favorites

This time, I'll write about my club activities and Favorites.

I don't belong to any club at the university. But I belonged to a brass-band club when I was at junior high school. I played the clarinet. I didn't a good player, but I loved the clarinet and I still love it. Clarinet is a interesting instrument. It has a wide range and has some different characters of the sound depending on range parts. So, the clarinet is sometimes mild and warm, sometimes cheerfully and merrily, and sometimes sharp and tensional. Clarinet is a versatility instrument, I think :)

Next, my favorite is Apple products. I'm writing this blog post on my Mac(MacBook Pro 15 in.), the coolest personal computer in the world, and recently I use Siri on my iPhone as a recorder or reminder. It's fabulous. It can be your own private secretary, I think.
Then, Why I have a such high opinion of Apple? Because, they are selling not only (cool) products but also future and dreams. Their new products always show us the possibility of the progressive future. We can imagine more delightful life through it. We can live our daily life more convenient, smooth and simple by it.
Future may motivates people. Dreams may stimulates children to study. It is the important. If Apple products were only stylish, I'm not interested in it so much. If Apple products were only useful, I may choose other company's products. I appreciate their creativity and principle, mostly.

My club activity is Badminton.
I play Badminton every Tuseday and Wednesday and Thurday.
I started Badminton 12 years ago.
I like play sports,especially I love play Badminton.

My Club

I am a member of volleyball team. I practice volleyball every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sometimes I play volleyball weekend. There are 30 members our team. Our relations are very good.
Last Sunday our team took part in convention. We became in Second prize! The game was so nice. 

We want to become in first next convention .

Club activity!

 I don't belong to any club activities at the university now,
so I would like to write about the club activities which I belonged to before.

I belonged to the racing canoe team when I was a high school student.
I rode a flat water racing canoe.
It is very difficult to ride but once we learn to ride, it is so fast.
I practiced everyday. Of course in winter time, too.
Sometime I practice in snowy whether.
 However I and my team mates have very good friendship even now,
because we overcame hard practices together.

Now I don't have a chance to ride a canoe, so I'm really looking forward to riding again.

Club Activity

I belong to a track and field club in the University.
I usually practice three times a week in the ground of the University after class.
I make  a rule of doing light exercises every week. I have kept it since I was a junior high school student. When I lives in my home town, I often jogged with my dogs to take a walk with them.
They run so fast! They trained me. They were always good coaches.

I ran at long sprint in half of my junior high school days, but I changed it to short sprint.
That is because I liked to run as fast as I could. It makes my heart refresh. Running long and long in the same circle is boring, but I like to run at a cross-country race, because the view changes when I am running. When I entered high school, I started to run at short sprint with hurdles. To leap hurdles is scary at first ,but when I became skilled in it, I found it exciting.

I don't necessarily like only running but also other sports.
I like soccer, snowboarding, or swimming. I was in a soccer club when I was elementary school student. I practiced for 4~5 hours a day.

I am a university student now so I don't have so much time to practice. It is disappointing.

I climbed the mountain when I was 12 years old.
It was really hard! But the  was very beautiful!!!
You should climb Mt.Fuji when you visit shizuoka.

Yosakoi(よさこい)

Hello.I'm a member of Yosakoi（よさこい） team.
Do you know Yosakoi?
Now Yosakoi is famous all over Japan.
 It's danced in many places in Japan.

We danced at the Sazanka（さざんか） festival today!
There were a lot of audience.So I was happy
to perform there.
Sazanka is the white flower which is bloomed
in fall.

We practiced at the public hall twice a week.
At first,it's hard for me to dance but I was supported
my friends.^^

My hometown

I’m from Kumamoto in Japan. Kumamoto is west of Japan and warm place. We have nearly some snow. I live in Yatsushiro in Kumamoto. We have some famous things. For example, the production of mat rush is the largest in Japan. Mat rush is material of tatami. Tatami is house mat of Japan. And we have some goods which are made of mat rush. This summer, I ate soft ice cream of mat rush flavor. It is good-tasting. Please eat it if you come to yatsushiro.
