My Hometown

My hometown is Taga town(多賀町) in Shiga prefecture(滋賀県). This is a small countryside town near Kyoto(京都), it has a population of about 8,000, but Taga is a historic place. You can find the name of Taga in Kojiki-book(古事記：the oldest history book in Japan).

There is a old shrine called Taga shrine(多賀大社 たがたいしゃ). Local people call it Otagasan(お多賀さん) with affectionately. It has some annual events. But especially, The New Year Celebration(歳旦祭 さいたんさい) and the Festival of the Tradition(古例大祭 これいたいさい)　are the biggest ones.
At the New Year Celebration, many people go to Otagasan to wish the happiness of the year. It's a general event in all over Japanese shrine and we call it Hatumoude(初詣：means the first worship of the year). It's so cold in December and January in Japan, but many people go to.
Then, be commonly the Festival of the Tradition called the Taga Festival(多賀まつり). At the festival, there is a portable shrine, and young men carry it along the street, and people walk in a line with putting on a Japanese traditional costume.

And, it is the most important point for children, there are many open-air stalls on the street selling foods or games etc., at both of the festivals! I also have been to the festivals many times from my childhood with my family of friends. So this is a place that is full of memories for me.

Taga is a small quiet town, so I didn't like the town so much before I leave there, but now, I know its good points. Such as it's abundantly blessed with nature (especially I love the starlit sky) and history, and we can go to large towns for instance Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe and Nagoya, easily and shortly. So I love my hometown now.

My name is kohei. I'm from FUKUI. There are many snow.So,I can ski very well.But I can not play snowboarding.I want to play snowboarding.
There is dinosaur museum.I often go this dinosaur museum. I am excited.

My home town

I have lived in Matsue for fifteen years. So, I spent a lot of time there. When I was high school student, I moved to Kawamoto, where is a very small town. So I don't know which town I have to introduce. Today, I introduce Matsue city. There are many histrotical building such as Matsue castle. I love castle town. I often go to Matsue castle. I eat dango (dumpling) there. Every year many tourist come to Matsue. if you come to Matsue , you should see setting sun of Shinji lake. It is so beautiful that you will impress.

I was born in Toyohasi city.
Toyohasi is in the south of Aichi prefecture.
There are alot of buildings.
Toyohasi is famous for chikuwa which means fish sausage.
There are a lot of factories of chikuwa.
If you come to my town someday, please buy this!!

I introduce my hometown. My hometown is Hiroshima. Hiroshima is next to Okayama prefecture.

In Hiroshima, there are some signhtseeing spots. For example, there is Itsukushima Shrine.This is World heritage. I recommend you to go there in summer , because big fireworks festival is held there. If you have a chance to come, I will tell you about my hometown.

And Maple steamed bun is the famous in Hiroshima. It is very delicious! There are a lot of tastes.  My recommendation is taste of powdered green tea and bean jam.

Kobe is famous for a seaport.
Old, many foreign people lived at Kobe. And many Western-style buildings left.

My hometown is Nishinomiya in Hyogo.
Nishinomiya is very convenient city. It's near Osaka.
We have the biggest and the most famous baseball stadium in Japan, Koshien stadium.

Nishinomiya is also famous for Sake.
There is water which is good to make sake in Nishinomiya, that is why we have many kinds of tasty Sake. Please come to taste it!

Mｙ hometown is Fukuoka. Do you know Fukuoka? Fukuoka is famous for Mentaiko and noodle! We have many tasty food. This is Mentaiko.

We usually eat with rice. This is noodle.

This is called Tonkotsu Ramen. It is ramen with a pork bone broth.

Fukuoka is the 3d biggest city in Japan. Fukuoka has beautiful nature and city  so we can live comfortable. And also we have tasty food. If you have a chance to come to Japan, welcome to Fukuoka!

My hometown is in Ehime prefecture.Ehime is famous for orange.
There is an orange juice tap in Ehime airport.Can you believe?And I'm from Shikokuchuo city,Ehime.It's famous for paper product.
For example the companies make tissue paper,toilet paper,wet tissue and so on.

My high school was made into a movie.It is about

My Hometown

My hometown is Shizuoka.
It is placed between Nagoya and Yokohama, but it is not so big.
In Shizuoka, we can see Mt.Fuji anywhere in a sunny day.
It is so beautiful. I like looking at Mt.Fuji from my house.40

In my hometown, green tea is produced. The productivity is the best of Japan.
And it is very good. People in Shizuoka like to drink green tea.
I have drunk it since I was a child.

We don't have snow in Shizoka.  It is not so cold in winter.
We cannot play with snow in winter, but in summer we can enjoy swimming in the sea.
The sea in Shizuoka is very beautiful.

In the sea of Shizuoka, a lot of fish are caught.

Sakuraebi can be caught only in Shizuoka.
It is very delicious!

Oranges produced in Shizuoka are also good.
I love drinking green tea with the oranges in winter.

Shizuoka is historical city too. There are many old castles near my house.
It is interesting to see. If you are interested in Japanese history, I recommend you to visit it.
